There is something revolutionary about the way in which sports can bring people together. Soccer in America is a study within itself. Trying to understand why and how the United States hasn’t quite reached its full potential in a country with over 300 million people, from so many backgrounds, is mind boggling. We see potential in American soccer, and in the same vein, we see potential in the soccer culture that fuels the fire.
It’s amazing that America missed out on the last World Cup, but it should also be extremely motivating for players and fans to fuel the fire and keep working that much harder to prove the doubters wrong. In essence, this has always been the American way - to find something and to try and do it better. While we are still a long way from reaching the pinnacle of world-class football, this is what inspired us to engage with the sport we have known our entire life. From the jungles of Uganda, to the countryside of England, and to the sunshine of California, we have lived and breathed football culture around the world, and we understand that in order to achieve success at the highest level you must start at the grassroots level.
This is where The Global FC lives and breathes. We’ve placed ourselves at the center of football, community, and culture, because we know that in order to grow this game, we must first educate the masses around what it takes to succeed. We all understand that success does not happen overnight, and here in America, we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to show the world who we are leading up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.A. For the first time since 1994, we will once again have an opportunity to flex our passion for the game and show supporters around the world that we have the chops to hang with the best.
Our approach to growing the game is different from our predecessors. Where news outlets and social media influencers will focus on the stats, the analysis, and reviewing the newest boots on the market, we focus on appealing to the humanizing aspects of the game, because we understand that what happens on the pitch is only one part of achieving success. The other 95% of our time on this planet is spent enduring hardship, sacrificing for ourselves, and our families, and figuring out how to lead a life we can be happy about in the end.
At The Global FC our goal is to help bridge the gap between the niche footballer and the new. From the content we create, to the lifestyle apparel we design, we want folks to feel like they are a part of a community of hardworking, passionate, and caring individuals in support of a common goal. This is the true nature of soccer culture around the world and we stand for diversity, inclusion, and a little bit of weirdness.
We hope you will join us on this journey as we look to transform the way in which Americans associate with soccer in their hometowns, across the country, and around the world.
